Well......Welcome welcome to the photography world i would like to start with talking about the basic equipment one would choose to become a good photographer

.........When.........When we talk about good photography we are talking about SLR or Digital SLR cameras, meaning Single Lense Reflex cameras. You control them manualy and change the lenses to suite your need (zooming, Macro, ect...) you can even add filters that change the colors and glare of the scenese you take. .. There are so many kinds of cameras out there i could start by naming the best three on the line

..........The cameras above are all digital, they started from film SLR cameras which many people still use and swear by. but with the world changing and the fact that you can view your image right after you shoot them is a huge save from film and the time it takes to develoe the photos.
.........Currently i am using the Canon 400D DSLR camera. it has 10 mega pixles with a new improved viewing screen. I got it with the kit lens 18-55 mm and a Sigma wide angle 10-20 mm. they both are very good lenses and if you are purchasing a camera yourself, i suggest you go with the kit lens with your camera since its a great starter lens with a good range of zoom.
